X 7741a. EP.{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer} from EFC. c. Ey. EFC2/AD19.9.29. X.7741 ACCESSORY DISTRIBUTION BOARD. X 7741b The present standard arrangement of the accessory distribution board is as instructed by West WitteringHenry Royce's home town and duly queried with them at the time. I have taken up the matter with Ey's dept. and they inform me that it is impossible to arrange for the supply of this distribution board to be on the other side of the fuse without altering the moulding. At the same time you should know that we have already instructed experimentally, a scheme comprising my own suggestion of giving two supplies to this accessory distribution board, one from each side of the ammeter and neither of which is subject to any of the distribution board fuses. Apparatus which is connected by the Coachbuilders can then readily be connected so as to read or not read on the ammeter as desired according to the magnitude of the current taken. As an experimental modification this of course, will be subject to our 10,000 mile test. EFC. | ||
