Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} copy MP. X7930 PN.{Mr Northey}4/PH.8.12.30. Phantom II Brakes - Anti-Squeaking. Your Ref. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/3/MJ.6.12.30. Yes, I agree it is disappointing that the not two Phantom II Trials Cars have/been fitted with this device hitherto, but you appreciate we struggled to keep these cars on the road in connection with their normal operations which is never very easy to do in view of the amount of time the coachwork requires attention day in and out. Tomorrow, (1-WJ will have this device fitted at "N" and 129-GN, I hope, will have it fitted at the end of the week. PN.{Mr Northey} P.H. [Stamp: RECEIVED 9 DEC 1930 HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}] | ||
