| COPY. LETTER RECEIVED FROM:- THE DUNLOP RUBBER CO, LTD., ASTON CROSS, BIRMINGHAM. SALES MANAGER. EHB. 20th Sept. 1920. Messrs. Rolls-Royce Limited, Nightingale Road, DERBY. Dear Sirs, Straight Side Tyres. We must apologise for delay in replying to your letter of the 2nd inst. in connection with supplies of Dunlop Straight Side Tyres 33 x 5". We do hope to be ready with this type and size of tyre at a very early date now, and we think you can depend upon our being ready by the time you receive wheels fitted with rims, for Straight Side tyre, which you have ordered from our Wheel Company. Meanwhile we can supply from stock Dunlop Straight Side Cord tyres 33 x 5", manufactured in the Dunlop Canadian Factory, so that should you need any tyres before our own manufacture is ready, you would perhaps agree to take these. We have imported a quantity of Straight Side tyres from the Dunlop Canadian Co. to put us in a position to meet the immediate demands of Clients needing this type of tyre for replacement purposes, but our own production will quickly replace these now.
