Complaints of engine misfires, caused by defective K.L.G. plugs.
---------------------------------

For your information, we have been badly up against it with several of our customers, who have complained of loss of power, due to lack of petrol, or insufficient feed from S.U. petrol pumps.

After carrying out several road tests, on different cars, we have definitely traced the troubles experienced to be due to defective sparking plugs.

B. 19 DK. Firenczi.

Mileage 22,262 kms. Complaint of misfires.
We supplied and fitted six new K.L.G. plugs, type 850.
Same complaint at 38,400 kms. We again fitted six new plugs - type 850. Car again came in with the same trouble at 39,800 kms. As we were getting such poor results from this type of plug, we decided to fit a set of Bosch plugs, type W/145/I, after which we carried out quite a long road test, and the performance of the car was quite O.K. The owner has now got his car, and we recently spoke to him on the 'phone, and he said that the car is now giving him entire satisfaction.
If we do have any further complaints from this owner, we will let you know at once.

B. 72 HK.{Col. T. Harker - Sales} Madame Norah Saint.

Mileage 800 kms. Complaint of maximum speed 80 kms per hour. We dismantled the six existing plugs, which were the new type 850, and have now fitted six of the old type K.L.G. type plugs, removed from B. 1 CW. Car now appears to be giving satisfaction.

B. 34 BN.{W.O. Bentley / Mr Barrington} Dr Plesch.

Mileage 27,270 kms. Supplied and fitted six K.L.G. plugs, type 850 after overhauling engine. When the car had only covered about 1,700 kms, we received the car for a complaint of loss of power. In fact, the maximum speed was about 90 kms per hour. Again we traced the trouble to be due to faulty plugs, and have replaced same, which only appears to be a temporary cure, with this type of plug.
