Messrs. Rolls-Royce Limited,
WST
Derby.

For the attention of Mr. West.

Dear Sirs,

We beg to acknowledge receipt of your letter reference Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wst.2/MA of the 22nd instant.

We had not appreciated that you desired to employ holding down bolts but there will be no difficulty in supplying the 6XHR11-1L battery with a monobloc container of the Bentley design with holding down bolts.

We are very interested in the final portion of your letter and welcome your suggestion that the regulators and effects of the battery on their performance might be discussed with you at Derby. Our Mr. C. P. Lockton will arrange to call upon you by appointment early next week for that purpose.

Yours faithfully,
THE CHLORIDE ELECTRICAL STORAGE COMPANY LTD.

Chief Engineer.
