x6107 To E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} from ROY.{Sir Henry Royce} c.c. to Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wst. ROY{Sir Henry Royce}5/MG27.9.33 Batteries You will recollect it was suggested that in due course the Bentley Type Batteries, i.e. Chloride...... 6.XHR.9-IML Peto & Radford 6.BGD.9-SC might be used on the 20/25 HP. Chassis also, in place of the present standard: Chloride ...... 6.XSM.7-IL Peto & Radford 6.TBS.7A on the score of (a) Economy in price, i.e. 11/6d per Battery, and (b) Reduction of Stocks. I do not know how far matters have progressed in this direction, but we shall be buying further 20/25 HP. Batteries shortly. Would you kindly advise. ROY.{Sir Henry Royce} | ||
