Re - Engine Lubricating Oils.

A certain Mr. Leonard, whose brother has just ordered a new PhantomCodename for PHANTOM I Rolls-Royce from us, is in the oil trade and is going to write to you asking if you will test his oils and give an unbiased opinion on them. He has no idea of selling any to us.

I understand that the oil was tested some little while ago by the Talbot Company who found, after running it in one of their 14-H.P. Talbots for 10,000 miles, that when the heads were removed, they only had to use a rag to remove the carbon deposit.

I am merely sending you this as I promised Mr. Leonard I would and he will write you himself shortly. I understand he is quite prepared to send up one of his relation's Rolls-Royce Cars to be dismantled for you to examine and see the result of the use of his oils.
