Quite a number of parts are held up in connection with new type carburetter and controllable shock dampers. To avoid any break in output, will By.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} please release, and will Roy.{Sir Henry Royce} please order 50 sets of the parts which are affected by the improvements in order to save time, and so that the job can proceed in parallel with experimental tests. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} informs me that in about two weeks he will be able to give me some fairly reliable information relative to these improvements, and if there happens to be any major alterations we shall not have gone very far, and, consequently, there would be little or no scrap.
