I have had very little running with the shock dampers under full load, as after the first 50 miles the union joining the pipe which crosses the chassis behind the gear box to the N.S. pipe came loose & sufficient oil was lost to cause the pressure to drop. I tightened the union & then later I pulled into a side road & re-filled the governor case after this the pressure returned and the dampers seemed to be very effective. On the London tram lines I used the dampers in the Min position & on reaching the open country I changed over to the max position of the control but the pressure failed to build up.
