Hôtel Sylva Pergolèse PARIS 3, Rue Pergolèse (XVIe) Téléph. : Passy 38-12 Avenue de la{L. A. Archer} Grande-Armée Passy 23-54 Bois de Boulogne relief valve. I have not been able to examine this but hope to do so at Ser. tomorrow & will report on this later. On several occasions the top gear came out, as the cushion is very close to the lever it possibly helped it to come out. I will have this altered before handing the car to Mr Slater. The ticking up on this carb is very bad in fact very little better than the original carb. Jet settings do not have much effect on it so will endeavour to obtain a suitable spring to fit under the piston. The starting from cold without the use of the starter carb is good. The car was left out side all last night & it started & continued to run before the starter had turned the engine more than one complete rev. & the same happened after the crossing. I estimate the air temp to be about 10°C. A B Roberts | ||
