ATTENTION GORDON ARMSTRONG ESQ.

Dear Sirs,

We are experimenting with a number of rubber mountings for various parts of our chassis where we would like to use rubber bushes similar to those you use for shock damper links.

It would be of great convenience to us if we could use bushes identical to yours so that we could obtain them from you.

If you agree to this, could you kindly send us drawings of your bushes, their housings and the shafts they fit so that we can make our metal parts of the right size to fit your bushes. We assume that you use a range of sizes and we would like particulars of each size.

Yours faithfully,
for Rolls Royce Ltd.,
