File 1293 To Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/HH. c.c EV.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Clm.{D. D. Clapham}10/SW.3.5.40. The front dampers on all future cars including Ripplet, should have the groove across the seat of the replenishing valve. The size of the groove should now be .100" wide and .015" deep, giving a total area of .0015 square inches. The rear spring drawing RF.247 should contain two enlarged views of the spring eyes showing the drill-ing for the screw, which prevents the bushes from turning. Lighter poundage springs will be required for Rippletto. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Clm.{D. D. Clapham} | ||
