Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} BY/Cgh.{W Clough}7/G.{Mr Griffiths - Chief Accountant / Mr Gnapp} 24.7.34. PHANTOM 11. CHASSIS - T.2. SERIES. With reference to the discussion which we had in your Office yesterday in regard to the recommendations to be made to the Administration that we order material for the front and rear rubber mounting for the engine and the larger bore carburetter for introduction at the 51st. chassis in T.2. series, we are also arranging to include the modified method of supporting the exhaust system in accordance with LeC1042, to delete the engine torque re-action dampers, and to fit flexible petrol piping as required, a scheme for which is being prepared by the Design Department. With the new carburetter we shall reinstate the previous standard camshaft E.80070. Will you please issue standardisation sheets for the larger bore carburetter as soon as possible, and no doubt you will in due course cover the rubber mounting for the engine. BY/Cgh.{W Clough} | ||
