8748 Experimental Dept. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}4/KT. Oct. 26th 1933. Mr. Percy Bradley, Clerk of the Course, Brooklands Motor Course, Weybridge, Surrey. Dear Sir, We thank you for your letter of Oct 21st. We are exceedingly anxious to be able to run endurance tests on the track during the next three weeks. It would appear that our tests may carry on after Nov. 4th, and we are anxious to know whether we shall be allowed to use the track for this purpose after the closing date, assuming always that we do not require to run the full lap at high speeds. The other point is that we have a special car which will not be ready until about Nov. 4th, and we should like to know if there is a chance of us getting a figure for the lap speed up to say Nov 10th. Yours faithfully, FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED. | ||
