4341 To RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/FJH.{Fred J. Hardy - Chief Dev. Engineer}7/JH.14.1.36. Ph.III Servo. We have found that if an exceptionally heavy load is applied to the brake pedal of the Ph.III the inclined surfaces of the servo cams are indented. We think that this could be overcome by increasing the depth of casehardening. Will you please make two pairs of scissor levers with the case, 0.050-0.060 deep, instead of the present 0.025-0.030. We wish to fit one set to 32-EX before it starts its 10,000 mile test. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/FJH.{Fred J. Hardy - Chief Dev. Engineer} | ||
