PHANTOM III. STANDARDISATION Estimated tool cost nil. Could be brought on to production at the 1st. chassis in 'C' series (without scrap). --- [The following text is reversed bleed-through from the page's other side] --- Valves which become slow to seat have not been successful on J & K series (K-I-K) engines & it is therefore proposed to discontinue these in favour of those made from K.E.965. (C.R.32). The increased cost is 3/6d. per engine. It is considered that the saving in scrap and service replacements will more than compensate for this increased cost. The cost of tools has not been exceeded. Costing Table Headers: MATERIAL | LABOUR | OVERHEADS | TOTAL Side Text: Cost of Tools Cost of %Inv.
