Y3579 c. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} EP{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer}/Thn8/H17.10.24. 20-HP. and 40/50 HP. Autovac System. In addition to the question of a filler cap on the above, as brought forward in our EP{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer}2/H8.10e24. it is suggested that a drain plug can be fitted to keep [handwritten: drain] out water and dirt and so prevent it reaching the carbur-etter. We shall be glad if you can give these matters consideration with a view to adoption as standard. In the meantime, we understand you are having one made for sending on to Cricklewood for 44-G-4, R.H. Filmer Esq. who has made a complaint of sand accumulating in his Autovac. EP{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer}/Thn.
