For the attention of Mr. Swindall.

Dear Sirs,

We thank you for your letter of the 8th December, addressed for the attention of our Mr. Johnson, regarding oil leaks into the clutch pit with our Main Bearing Crank Thrust Washers.

We have had an opportunity of discussing this matter with Mr. Johnson at these works to-day, and are arranging to prepare some further samples without the oil grooves across the face, but would suggest that the chamfer in the bore is retained.

We are, however, preparing four pairs with this chamfer, and four pairs without, so that you can try out further experiments, and will despatch these at the earliest possible moment.

Assuring you of our best attention at all times,

Yours faithfully,

VANDERVELL PRODUCTS LIMITED.
