EXPERIMENTAL DEPARTMENT.

Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Cwdl.14/JH. 12th. December. 1938.

Messrs. Vandervell Products Ltd.,
Western Avenue,
Park Royal,
LONDON.W.3.

For the attention of Mr. Johnson.

Dear Sirs,

Further to our letter of the 8th. ref. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Cwdl.4/MH.{M. Huckerby} in which we requested you to supply us with 4 pairs of thrust washers without grooves in the faces, in conjunction with the layout L.1076 we are still anxiously awaiting these.

We wonder if you misconstrued our letter as we have received 4 pairs of bearings without the oil grooves, these we will retain however, but would be obliged if you could send us the thrust washers without grooves as soon as possible.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LTD.
