Dear Mr. Leslie,

As promised, I herewith enclose you drawing showing the 1¼" and 1โ…›" spindle. I think you will agree that the 1โ…›" is a much sounder job, and should be, I think, sufficiently strong to stand anything that these shock absorbers are likely to give.

Have you any better ideas to offer regarding the connecting rod section ?
