X.3322 The last series of "Hawk" engines were rated to give 90 HP at 1500 r.p.m. - 107 lbs.b.m.p. The actual HP. the engines developed varied from 88 to 94 HP, the average was consistently 90 HP. We think if we promise 100 HP. we shall quite satisfy the Airship people. We might consider fixing a gauze into the induction pipes to prevent fire, as they are to be used solely for Airship work.
