This car was tested fitted with 1400 lbs. rear springs and hydraulic dampers with 60 lbs. up and down fixed loading and a viscosity factor rising to 250 lbs. load at the ball pin with a maximum piston velocity of 15" per sec. The general impression was that the results were very much better than the standard damper setting at 100 lbs. fixed loading, this being the lead required to make the car controllable at high speeds.
