No. 25 HP. MATERIAL.

With reference to the 200 sets of material which have just been ordered for the 25 HP., we recommend we try and get in the following improvements :-

(1) Needle bearings on propeller shaft joints.

These will be Standardised on the Bentley and as the same joint is used on the 25 HP. we ought to adopt the improvement on that car.

(2) Change speed lever knob.

We wish to adopt the change speed lever knob with no button on the top and which also overcomes the complaint of gear lever rattles which have been complained of on the 25 HP.

(3) Starter motor with increased efficiency.

We have standardised for the Bentley a modified 25 HP. motor which is more efficient. We would like to take advantage of this on the 25 HP.

(4) Balancing cam on camshaft.

This will over-come very serious customers complaints - it is Standard for Bentley.

We also wish to arrange that the future 25 HP. cars are built so that controllable shock dampers can be fitted later. This means a slight alteration to the position of the brake lever shaft.

We are issuing Standardisation Sheets for the above new parts. They will all have completed 10,000 miles in a few days time.
