| - 2 - With regard to the final paragraph of your letter, I must say I resent the suggestion that information about any car you send here leaks out from our men. Moreover, I am quite satisfied that it is not obtained by unauthorised persons prowling around our Shops, as for sometime now we have had a system of Works Passes and have been very particular indeed as to who enters any one of our Shops. On the other hand, since you have mentioned the matter I would say that for years past, long before the War started, the information of your reputed plans for the future used to reach us and most other Traders from the gentleman you mention, and I am bound to say that very often events proved that he knew what he was talking about.
