We are now definitely advised by the Swedish firm Aktiebolaget Garphytte Bruk, that the wire they will supply to us for experimental tests in regard to the manufacture of valve springs will not be a hard drawn piano wire as at first thought, but will be supplied in the hardened and tempered condition and will only require a light tempering after coiling.
