contd :- -2- some traction tread tyres (either the 6" or 6.75" whichever you require) from Dunlops in Paris. It would be very unwise however for us to rely on the traction pattern tread to get us out of our troubles because the triple stud is being boomed by Dunlops and will undoubtedly get fitted on the cars eventually. We recommend that you stay on at Chateauroux until we have arrived at a satisfactory compromise on the steering so that they can go forward on production. We shall be sending to you tomorrow the friction device suitable for the pivots. We are sending these by air mail and addressing them to R-R Paris because we think you may get it quicker that way.
