Wraith replacement.

Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} brought forward certain criticisms that had been raised by Cx.{Major Len W. Cox - Advertising Manager} in connection with the over-lay drawing which has been made to show just to what extent the Wraith replacement varied from a standard Wraith. The following points were cleared up :-

(1).
The seating position for both front and rear had been raised approximately 1 1/4", with the object of maintaining visibility on the front seat in accordance with traffic regulations.
Raising the front seat by 1 1/4" necessitated swinging the wheel up a similar amount.

(2).
The relative position of the pedals and the centre line of the bottom of the steering wheel are unaltered, that is, they represent our standard dimensions.
One point which was made clear was that there were 2" on the standard Wraith wasted between the pedals and the dash. We have taken advantage of these 2" in a Wraith replacement by going forward that amount.

All-metal Wraith Body.
Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} also expressed the wish that I should consider the body which is being made for his use by Park Wards in all-metal construction for a Wraith. In addition, he suggested that if and when a further Wraith experimental chassis requires a body it should be made in a similar manner.
