Contd. -3- R6/G29.6.20. The instructions re cleanliness of battery should read, "Keep the top of the battery scrupulously free from acid, dirt, and all foreign substances". Also add :- "Wash the battery with clean water to remove acid, and dry as quickly as possible". "Keep all metal work other than lead covered with vaseline, but do not put vaseline on insulating compound or cable covering". Referring to page 28, "Charging in Garage from External Source", the currect direction of the current when charging should be shecked by observing the ammeter. Referring to page 29, on the same subject. I would like you to cancel "This method of charging is somewhat uneconomical". In addition to the column of concise instructions, I would like a page devoted to what to do "in case of failure". This would cover some of the information given now under other headings.
