BENTLEY IGNITION CONTACT BREAKER. Now that it is anticipated that the speed of the Bentley engine will be increased on certain experimental engines we suggest that a modification to the distributor will be necessary. Our present single lever distributor is working near its limit for absolutely satisfactory ignition at high speeds and we would like a double breaker distributor on the lines of LeC.3323 but using the existing Bentley type of contact lever and spring arrangement which has given such good service. We feel such a distributor will put up the maximum speed of operation considerably. We should be glad therefore if you could arrange for LeC.3323 to be modified on the lines suggested for use on future experimental Bentley engines. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wst. | ||
