Handwritten: YNG See me H# Dear Sirs, Acknowledging yours of the 13th and 14th inst. and confirming telephone conversation to-day with Mr. Hives we would inform you that the 2 x 500-gln. lots of 77 Octane Fuel and 87 Octane Fuel respectively are being despatched on Monday from our Silvertown Works. The Air Ministry have not yet officially promulgated their new specification, but we understand it will be in circulation by the end of next week. Meanwhile we are taking up the matter with the A.I.D. with regard to the official release of batches, and we hope to inform you in the course of the next few days when the stock of 9,000 gallons can be accumulated at Derby in anticipation of your requirements.
