AUTOMATIC CLUTCH SPIGOT LUBRICATION.

With reference to HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/RM{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}2/AD201131, we suggest that we ought to make some experiments with this lubrication to see if it cannot be better regulated before we abandon it. We shall want this information for J.{Mr Johnson W.M.} 3.

Reducing the aperture somewhere, possibly the drilled hole in the gearbox cover, or the hole into the shaft, we should have thought would have quickly restricted the amount of oil that enters.

Could you carry out some experiments independent of an actual car to determine whether we cannot regulate the flow of oil.
