re: Springing - (Chassis 115-MC.)

Your thesis on springing is very helpful.

I do not know if I sent you a copy of my memo on the difficulty I am having with 115 MC. But I am now carrying out an unofficial experiment by fitting Hartfords to rear in conjunction with our Hydraulics. This I did just before Christmas, and I am waiting for the Customer's appreciation.

I should have preferred starting the experiment on the front first, but as the brackets were already fitted, I started on the rear.

This car is fitted with both spare wheels at the back and the trouble is pitching.

We have already changed the springs several times with no pronounced improvement. The disposition of weight is very good, battery in frame, wheels at rear, bumpers, etc. But, I cannot get much of an improvement yet. Any further counsel you can offer please send it along.
