-3- Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}10/MH.{M. Huckerby}28.2.40. PRODUCTION OF FIRST 6 B.V. BODIES. Various production difficulties were explained to Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} It was agreed that Draper would go down and investigate them as soon as he returned to work. He is at present ill. SECOND 6 B.V.PRODUCTION BODIES. It was agreed that two of these would be made with the lightened frame work. Unless a more reasonable price could be obtained for Motor Panels' pressings in the light gauge material, Ward would make one set of these by hand. Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} emphasised, however, that whatever the cost he wanted one set of pressings in the light gauge to be made from the tools to show that this was possible. MOTOR PANELS' TOOLS. It was agreed that Green should visit Motor Panels to see if he could get a sensible explanation of some of their price figures. HEATER & DEFROSTER FOR CAR FOR THE STATES. Hn.{F. C. Honeyman - Retail orders} asked Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} if he could supply a heater and defroster for a car going to America. Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} said he would go into the matter and thought something could be done. FURTHER B.V. CHASSIS. Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} said that he thought eventually more B.V. chassis would be able to be completed. These could not be finished for at least 2 months because they had no gearboxes and were waiting for the Experimental Dept. to release same. Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} proposed to ask Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} to agree that 4 of the last 6 bodies should be fitted to these chassis.
