With reference to your memo
Wor{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager}/Mcr11/L9215, I thank you for the weights you have given.
It will be seen that 49 GB is really too strong. Would you therefore please remove springs from one side only of 49 GB bonnet and measure the dimension shewn in sketch to drawing E.4408; this should be .225".
Kindly report if springs are to drawing, and reduce this dimension to .150.
When springs are again erected on that particular side of the bonnet, will you please notify me and I will try friction.
