Rolls Royce Limited. 16th September, 1937 Arrangement D.{John DeLooze - Company Secretary} Precisely the same as A, B & C, but employing a larger type Thermostat if required, namely - our Drawing X.43402, arrangements EX.X.9730 and EX.X.9893 (suggested). In addition to the above we can also offer you self-contained Thermostats, that is, Thermostat and Body all in one, as per print X.43322 herewith, for bolting direct to the cylinder head and with external bypass. We strongly advise the use of bypass control and would inform you that we supply over 150,000 Thermostats a year to the Motor Car Industry, those having pump cooled engines employing bypass control. We have refrained from quoting at this stage, but shall be pleased to do so if you will kindly let us know which of the devices offered will meet your requirements.
