-2- Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/RC.{R. Childs}10/JH.28.10.38. No.5. Fitted on 35.EX and has run 3,710 miles. No.6. Bench starting and stopping tests, 56 starts without missing. Fitted on 25.G.VI and has run 145 miles. No.7. Fitted on 29.G.VI and has run 3,400 miles. No.8. Fitted on 8.G.5. " " " 242 miles. No.9 Fitted on 1.B.50 " " " 1,236 miles. As will be seen, of the nine instruments only one has given trouble so far, and this appears to have been corrected by the makers. Considering the unreliability of the existing clock, we feel it is now time to standardise the impulse type clock. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/RC.{R. Childs} | ||
