Complaints and a list of troubles related to the New Phantom model.

With reference to your BJ1/H30.11.25. the list made out by H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} attached to your memo, is considered by the Works as most useful. In compiling my list of troubles attached which have came to my notice either as complaints from customers, reports from Depots, from our own people, or noted on test, I have first of all dealt with the complaints on H's list, to which I have added my comments, see Items 1 - 19 inclusive. As far as ever possible, I keep the Design and Experimental Departments 'au fait' with such features, and am in touch with EY. and Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} on these matters. So far it has been a question of working these things in with the parties concerned at such times as I can get an audience and sympathetic consideration. Whilst it is important to avoid all possible faults or complaints, to try to tackle them all simultaneously would only cause confusion, and it is therefore a question of concentrating upon the most urgent. I suggest, therefore, that the remaining items should be considered by Sales Officials, i.e. H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} and possibly CWB and PN{Mr Northey} as to whether a further similar list can be submitted, having regard to the complaints they have had from customer, and how such points, if continued may affect our sales or reputation.
