X.4316 RE SPRING LID{A. J. Lidsey} LUBRICATORS.
--------------------------

Referring to your memo EPS-F111220, we have taken this matter up with Rotherham & Sons, asking them if they ever supplied us with spring lid{A. J. Lidsey} lubricators fitted with a gauze, and they have replied informing us that they have never supplied us with any lubricators fitted with a gauze.

They state, however, that if we wish lubricators to be supplied with a gauze they will quote us for same, but as this would mean extra cost, and as we use a fair number of lubricators on chassis, we are of the opinion that unless a distinct improvement is to be derived from lubricators fitted with a gauze we should carry on with the present pattern.

Will you kindly let us know whether we are to go any further with this matter.
