Exptl. Dept. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}15/KW. 17th April, 1934. J.S. Inskip, Esq., Rolls-Royce of America, Inc., 34, East 57th Street, New York, U.S.A. Dear Inskip, Here is my last New York Athletic Club account. I enclose 6 dollars and shall be very glad if you will pay this for me. There is another account which I enclose, which is from the Amplex Manufacturing Co. and I am not quite sure who these people are or what the parts are. I believe they may be some rubber torsional crankshaft dampers, or failing that, some anti-friction inserts to place between the road spring leaves. Anyhow, the parts do not appear to have arrived here, and therefore before you settle the account I should be glad if you would find out how they propose to ship them. If you could pay this account along with the others that I gave you, and debit R.R. England with the amount, I think it would be the simplest way of settling it. Yours sincerely, FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED. | ||
