re. TYRE PRESSURES.

We shall be glad to know whether you are satisfied that all possible has been done with the tyre makers from the point of view of bringing them to our way of thinking in regard to tyre pressure and that it is no use persuing this matter further.

We would refer you to ROY{Sir Henry Royce}'s memo reference ROY{Sir Henry Royce}/GEA12/F17.7.22, under cover of which he furnished one of Dunlops booklets re latest tyre pressures, and our reply EP{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer}/Thn9/019.7.22, in which we pointed out that although in this booklet they agreed to reduce the tyre pressure it was still not in accordance with our wishes, and ROY{Sir Henry Royce}'s further memo ROY{Sir Henry Royce}4/W1.8.22, and you will see the position in which we stand at present.

We are anxious, however, in view of R's continuous references to low tyre pressures that we should be satisfied that all possible has been done.
