Dear Wilks,

Thank you for your letter of the 13th. March.

Nothing seems terrible to us nowadays as long as it gives the customer satisfaction for a reasonable financial outlay.

We shall be very glad to come over and see your chromium plated bore after 60,000 miles, and at the same time inspect your magnetic gearbox. If you could give me a week's notice it would be helpful as we are busy at present.

I had a most interesting day with Taub last week and was disgusted to find that he had got a medal for his Paper on Cylinder Bore Wear. I think he sees the joke himself.
