When you have checked this first unit, would you be good enough to return the whole thing to me as it stands so that I may make the second one match up to it. I would particularly like you to check the action on vacuum of the charged bellows to see whether this is satisfactory.

When you next write me will you let me know of what material the steel bellows is made. It seems to be of stainless steel, and if this is so I would recommend that some other material be employed since it is extremely difficult to solder satisfactorily.
