Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Swal. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Std.4/MH.{M. Huckerby}16.2.38. 6003 27.G.VI - THERMOMETER POSITION. When issuing the specification required on 27.G.VI we did not request any alteration in the thermometer bulb position since it has already been moved to the front of the cylinder head, i.e. the correct place, on this car. Now, however, the engine has been changed and a different cylinder head is fitted so that the bulb is once more back in its wrong place. Will you, therefore, please modify its present cylinder head to SCD. 177 and fit the bulb in the front position. Will you also modify all Wraith cylinder heads which you have so that this trouble does not recur. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Std. | ||
