6003 12-2-38 To HPS.{Horace Percy Smith - Experimental Factory Mgr} from Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Std. c. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Wym.{G. Harold Whyman - Experimental Manager} Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Std.4/MH.{M. Huckerby}21.1.38. Further to Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Std.4/MH.{M. Huckerby}21.1.38. Since the forward position of the thermometer bulb in the cylinder head has been standardised on Wraith cylinder heads it will also be automatically included on B.III heads since the same head is used for both cars. This feature is equally necessary on B.III. Will you, therefore, modify existing all B.III heads to SCD.177 as soon as opportunity occurs. We want all Wraith and B.III cars to be running with thermometer bulb in correct position. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Std. | ||
