I have attained a speed of 64 m.p.h., and at this speed the vibrations from the engine are wicked. The change speed lever at this speed is oscillating through a distance of at least 4", and hits one violently on the sides of the leg, also we believe that there is a bad crankshaft whip at this speed. This, I do not definitely state to be the case, but from the sound coming from the flywheel and of crankshaft gives one the impression of very bad vibrations taking place at this end. Unfortunately we have not been able to attain this speed again, but will try to take fuller particulars of this phenomenon next time we are able to attain the speed.
