To Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} from BJ. 48370 BJ17/H22.7.25. "NEW PHANTOMCodename for PHANTOM I". -Change gear mechanism. With reference to the 10,000 miles test being made on the "New PhantomCodename for PHANTOM I" car, we should like to try as soon as possible a car fitted with correct seating accommodation, 'D' column, and the new levers and gate, in order to satisfy ourselves that the length of the levers and the general appearance of the gate is satisfactory. It has been suggested by some that the present appearance of the gate is unworthy of the chassis, and that the speed lever would be made improved by being longer on some types of cars. B.J. | ||
