373 D.{John DeLooze - Company Secretary} Dear Withers, I enclose a letter which I shall be glad if you will give to Commander Henderson. Yours sincerely, Withers Esq., 12th Oct. 1938 12th October 1938 Dear Commander Henderson, I want to know if it would be possible for you to arrange that on the delivery of the car at home the Speedometer will stand at zero. I believe a man named Evans does all the testing at the last week two or three days before delivery, and if he puts this back to zero, and disconnects the cable your driver who brings this car down could connect the cable up again, and I should have it to start on the 1st January at zero. It is a small matter, but naturally it would have to be done by your people. Obviously, she will have run many miles over your track etc., for testing purposes, but this is in the natural order of things. If you could make arrangements about this I should be much obliged. Yours sincerely, | ||
