Phantom II and 20/25 HP. Sealed Petrol Filler
    Air Vent.
    ------------------------------------------

In reply to Cx.{Major Len W. Cox - Advertising Manager}14/KW.12.3.34, the modifications
referred to in E.1/HP.7.3.34, under the drawing number
F.86074 are the subject of a Standardisation Sheet at
present in circulation; they can therefore come on
production as soon as the Works are in a position to
produce them.

This scheme is satisfactory from the user's
point of view, but is unnecessarily complicated and costly
for permanent production.

A further simpler scheme is in hand and will
automatically replace F.86074 as soon as it is
satisfactorily tested.

We should be in a position in about 10 days or
a fortnight to say exactly when F.86074 will be brought on
to production.
