With reference to your BJ/Py11/D28.3.24, I have discussed this matter with Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} and BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} and we are of the opinion that it will not be necessary to carry out the 10,000 mile test on these two particular modifications before you give approval to America. We are returning to you our copies of these two Standardisation Sheets so that they can be made the same as those which you return to America, and returned again to us, to enable us to keep our files in order. We also return herewith our Copies of Standardisation Sheets Nos. 22 - 28 inclusive which have not been endorsed. We shall be glad if these can be treated similarly as above and returned to us.
