SPRING TO GIVE 5 IN. LBS. ON LAMP C'SHAFT
WIRE .092 DIA. 35 TURNS, MEAN RAD. = .400
INITIAL DEFLEXION = 240° --- TORQUE = 5 IN LBS.
WORKING DEFLEXION = 70°, TOTAL = 310°. TORQUE = 6.45 IN LBS.
MAX. STRESS = 84,400 LBS D'
LOAD ON HANDLE ABOUT 2.8 LBS.

THESE SPRINGS ARE IN ADDITION TO THE ONE ON N.S. 1427 WHICH IS NOW THOUGHT TO BE TOO POWERFUL.
WILL DERBY SEND US A SET OF SPRINGS. WITH SPRING ANCHOR + MODIFIED BRKT, TOGETHER WITH A REAMER FOR THE TAPER PIN. SO THAT WE CAN FIX UP 40H.
